Alex Lockey Let’s talk

Work with me.

Four ways in, each a bigger step than the last. Every one starts with the same thirty-minute call, and every one ends with something running in your business.

A strategy conversation

For any founder who can see the business running better and wants a straight view on what is worth building.

Thirty minutes on the workflow you want fixed or built, and what the business could become if it ran that way.

You leave knowing whether it is worth doing, roughly what it takes, and which of the routes below fits. If it is not worth building, I will say so.

Free. Thirty minutes. A straight answer.

Diagnose and plan

For a business that knows something is slow or expensive, and wants to know what to fix first.

Time inside how the business actually runs: the people, the data and where the hours go. Every workflow is mapped, then ranked by what it is worth.

You get the ranked list of what to build, what each item is worth and a brief for each. The fee is credited against the build if you go ahead.

A ranked build list, with the value of each item.

A build project

For a named workflow that should run on its own, with a person deciding at the end of it.

I scope it, own the outcome and build it, myself or with a small, named bench. Each piece is tested against the job it is meant to do before the next one starts.

Your team runs it from day one. The code, the documentation and the know-how stay with you.

A working system, owned by the business.

Fractional partner

For founders who want an operator inside the business, not another adviser outside it.

A retained role alongside you and your team: structure, systems, margin and growth. I measure what matters, fix what moves it, ship the change and review it, every month.

It is how I work with businesses like Grants Bakery, and how what we built keeps paying back.

An operator at the cadence you need, without a full-time hire.

Systems running inside real businesses. Each one is drawn the way it works on its own page.

For leaders first

The ROI for AI Bootcamp, with The Performance Academy. Eight live working sessions where leaders size the prize on their own numbers before anything is built.

Buying or selling a business

Thomsett Lockey, my M&A partnership, built on the deal intelligence in the EDMA case.

A good fit.

We will work well together if

  • You run a founder-led business and can make the call without a committee
  • You can name the workflow that is costing you, and you have the budget to fix it
  • You want it built and running, not a strategy deck
  • You and your team will put time in alongside mine

Not the right fit if

Questions.

What if we are not technical?
That is who this is for. The people I work with are founders, managing partners and practice heads, not developers. I handle the technical side, and you keep the decisions.
Is this about AI?
AI is one lever. Most of the work is how the business runs: the workflow, who owns which decision, and the numbers you steer by. Where a tool earns its place we use it. Where a specialist fits better, I bring one in.
How much does it cost?
Most first builds cost less than six months of the hire they replace, and the business owns what is built. Each piece of work is priced to its shape and length, and scoped on the first call. The bootcamp is priced on its own page.
Who owns what gets built?
You do. The code, the documentation and the know-how stay with the business. No lock-in.

Tell me the workflow you want fixed or built. I’ll tell you straight whether it’s worth building, and which way in fits.
