how I work with you

Services

Three ways to work with me, plus the Community. Pick the shape that matches what you’re trying to solve. The work fits any business that runs on people, process, and expertise.

The Starting Point

Most firms reach for AI as a technology play. That’s backwards. Business fundamentals first, then the tools that fit. AI is one option, not the headline. Sometimes the answer is simpler than software, it’s stopping something, combining two roles, or changing how a decision gets made.

I diagnose what’s actually broken, install the systems that solve it, and stay long enough to make sure they stick. Where a tool fits, we use it (Claude, OpenClaw, Make.com, custom builds, whatever the right answer is). Where a partner fits better, we bring one in.

How we can work together

Three paid shapes, plus the Community as the lower-friction entry. The right one depends on whether you have a problem to solve, a thinking partner to find, or a business to keep improving.

1:1 Coaching

£200 per hour. Single sessions or packs.

For anyone who wants focused thinking on a real problem you’re working on right now. Solo operators, execs inside larger businesses, intrapreneurs running a function. Live, on a call, no slides. You bring the problem, I bring the questions. We get to the answer together.

  • Pre-call brief template so we don’t waste time
  • 60-minute working session, video on, screens shared
  • Notes and next steps written up after
  • Best for: lean operating, tooling decisions, business design, pricing, leverage moves

Right for anyone who wants a sounding board, not a course.

Project work

Scoping call, then scoped engagement.

For businesses with a real operating problem to solve. We start with a free scoping call (sometimes two), figure out what the actual problem is and whether I’m the right person for it. If yes, I scope the engagement and we get to work. The audit lives inside the engagement, not charged upfront.

  • 1-2 free scoping calls, no pitch deck, no pressure
  • Tools fit the problem (AI, lean systems, workflow redesign, custom builds, whatever’s right)
  • Sold on outcomes (problem solved, leverage installed) not on tech
  • Where the work needs a specialist (engineering, finance, data, security) or a different shape entirely (mass-adoption training, M&A advisory), I bring partners in

Right for founders and partners who’ve named a problem and want it solved.

Long-term partnership

An operator inside your business, ongoing.

Project work often grows into something longer when both sides want it. I embed deeper, understand the business, the people, the margins. We optimise continuously. This isn’t a shape you can buy cold, it’s what the working relationship becomes when it’s already proven itself.

  • Embedded in your operations, direct access
  • New use cases, ongoing optimisation, hiring and onboarding support
  • Strategic advisory on growth, pricing, structure
  • Where specialist work shows up, I bring the partner in

Right for founders who want a long-term operator inside the business.

How a project actually runs

Whether it’s a one-off engagement or the start of a longer partnership, the shape is the same.

1

Diagnose

I talk to your people. I watch your workflows. I ask hard questions about what’s broken, what’s expensive, what’s keeping your team frustrated. The audit happens inside the engagement, not as a paid pre-step.

2

Install

I build. I install the systems into your actual tools and processes. I show your people how to use them. I iterate based on feedback. The aim is a working setup, not a deployment ticket.

3

Make it stick

I measure what’s working. I refine. I find the next opportunity. I train new people as you hire. I stay long enough that the change holds. The business gets leaner over time, and we either close the engagement clean or it grows into the long-term partnership.

Sector guides

I work with any business that runs on people, process, and expertise - bakeries, marketplaces, software, training, anything where margin and time matter. My deepest expertise is recruitment and training/education, but I’ve written sector guides for the other professional services where AI is moving fastest, so you can see how the work translates.

Don’t see your sector? The approach is the same wherever margin and time matter, diagnose the operating problem, install the right systems, stay long enough to make sure they stick. Book a scoping call and we’ll work out whether it fits.

This is for you if...

  • You can name the problem you want solved first
  • You have revenue, clients, and a business that works, but know it could run leaner
  • You’re the decision-maker (or can get the decision-maker in the room)
  • You want practical implementation, not a strategy deck
  • You execute fast when you see the right move

Probably not if...

  • You want general AI training across a whole team (I’ll refer you to a training partner)
  • You need committee approval for every decision
  • You want someone to hand over a report and leave
  • You’re after the cheapest option (I’m not it, deliberately)
  • You need motivation rather than implementation

What if we’re not technical?

That’s exactly who this is for. My clients are managing partners, practice heads, and founders, not developers. I handle the technical setup. You focus on your business.

How does a scoping call work?

30 minutes, free. You bring the problem, I bring the questions. By the end of the first call we should both know whether there’s a fit. If yes, sometimes a second scoping call to nail the scope before I write the proposal. No pitch deck, no pressure.

What does a project actually look like?

Depends on the problem. Some projects are 2-3 weeks of focused install work. Some are 8-12 weeks of building and embedding. The audit lives inside the engagement, not as a paid upfront step. I sell on the outcome (problem solved, leverage installed), not on a fixed week count.

Is this just about Claude / AI?

No. AI is one option. I also work on workflow redesign, process automation, operational systems, hiring decisions, and sometimes the answer is simpler than technology. Where a tool fits, we use it (Claude, OpenClaw, Make.com, custom). Where a partner fits better (training delivery, deep dev work, CFO, M&A, data, security), I bring them in.

What sectors do you work with?

My deepest expertise is recruitment and training/education. I’ve written sector guides for legal, accountancy, recruitment, training providers, and awarding bodies (links above). The approach works for any business where margin and time matter, regardless of sector.

How much does it cost?

Coaching is £200 per hour, single sessions or packs. Project work is scoped per engagement, the audit lives inside it, so cost depends on scope. Long-term partnership is what the working relationship becomes when both sides want it, scoped to the shape of the work, not a fixed price you can ask for cold. The scoping call is free either way.

Start with a scoping call

Not sure if this is right for your business? That’s fine. Book a 30-minute scoping call and we’ll figure out together whether there’s a fit. No charge. No pitch.
