AI for sports performance organisations

Turn the athlete data you already capture into real performance gain.

Senior AI experts work alongside your coaches, analysts and operations team to redesign the workflows that matter most. The performance intelligence platform you already use becomes a working AI capability, not a dashboard nobody opens. Government funding covers most of the cost.

Free call. No proposal until we have spoken. No commitment either way.

Why most AI rollouts in sports organisations quietly fail

Strategy without doers stalls. Doers without strategy drift.

Most clubs, academies and performance organisations have already tried one of these two routes and seen the result. We do both, at the same time, inside the organisation.

Strategy without doers

A consultancy or platform partner comes in, runs an AI workshop, leaves a slide deck. The performance director nods. Nobody in the actual coaching, sport science or analysis team owns the work. Two windows later the deck is in a drawer and nothing has changed.

Plan delivered. Nobody to execute it.

Doers without strategy

The organisation buys generic AI training. Coaches and analysts learn prompts and tools. They build a few small automations in their own corners. None of it connects to performance outcomes, athlete development, or commercial goals. Momentum dies after the first certificates land.

Skills delivered. No direction. Effort scattered.

What works: senior AI experts inside the organisation, with a strategist steering the work.

Our model puts senior people who already know how to ship AI workflows alongside your coaches, sport scientists, analysts and operations team, working on your actual jobs, with a strategist making sure every workflow ladders up to the performance and commercial outcomes you want. That is the only model that delivers real AI capability inside a sports organisation. Everything else is theatre.

Start here

Every engagement starts with a 30-minute discovery call.

One call. No proposal. No follow-up sales pitch. We use it to understand your organisation, talk through where the highest-leverage workflows sit across performance, analysis and operations, and tell you honestly which of our three routes (if any) fits.

What we cover on the call.

01

Where you are with AI today

What your performance, analysis and operations teams are already doing with AI, what is working, and where the obvious gaps are.

02

Which workflows matter most

The roles and processes in your organisation where AI will move the needle on performance, athlete development and commercial outcomes.

03

Which route fits

An honest read on whether any of our three delivery routes is the right fit, or whether we are not the right people for what you need.

How we work

Three routes. Most organisations pick the middle one.

Which route fits depends on whether you can access government training funding, how much strategic support you want, and how urgently you need results inside the season. The discovery call settles all three.

£

The financial picture. Routes 1 and 2 unlock up to £18,000 per person of training, paid for by the Growth and Skills Levy. Any strategic support, sprints, or workflow library installs sit on top, contracted separately at a price that fits your organisation. Most organisations find Route 2 is the most cost-effective way to actually embed AI across performance, analysis and operations. The discovery call will tell you whether you qualify for funding and which route makes sense.

Why this model works

Four things that separate this from generic AI delivery.

01

Built for sport, not generic AI

Every workflow we ship is designed around how performance organisations actually run. Athlete data interrogation, injury risk modelling, training plan drafting, opposition and match prep, talent identification, athlete and parent communication, coaching CPD, operations. We speak sport because we work in it.

02

Real work from week one

No curriculum-first training. Your team picks a real workflow in week one and ships it in your live performance stack, with a senior expert alongside them. The portfolio writes itself as the work gets done.

03

Plugs into the data platform you already use

We work with whatever performance intelligence platform your organisation already runs on. AI sits on top of your existing data, not alongside it. The tool can be swapped out later without losing the work.

04

A library that grows with every client

Every cohort and every consulting engagement adds shipped, documented sports workflows to a shared library. Your organisation benefits from work done with prior clients, anonymised and reusable from day one.

A note on funding and contracting. The funded programme in Routes 1 and 2 is delivered under the AI L4 (ST1512) apprenticeship standard, regulated and funded by the ESFA through the Growth and Skills Levy. Training is delivered at the published funding band under a separate apprenticeship service agreement, fully compliant with the 2025-26 apprenticeship funding rules including the six-hour weekly minimum off-the-job training requirement. Strategic support, transformation sprints, executive workshops, workflow library installs, and Route 3 consulting are contracted commercially at market rate. The funded training and the commercial engagements are operationally aligned and commercially distinct. Neither subsidises the other. Cohorts are subject to confirmed delivery licence and EPAO arrangements; details available on request.
